Ch/Art, the Chevy Chase arts group, is pleased to present WOW4! (Windows on Wisconsin) Part 4 – Duets.
Curator Kirsty Little’s call for ‘Duets’ has brought together couplings of a talented group of mixed media artists from Ch/Art: Rachel Rice, John Allen, Rebecca HirshVivian Cavalieri, Andrew Wohl, Madeleine Greenwald, Casimira.
The WOW4! exhibit is accessible 24/7, drawing the attention of passers by to 5500 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase, Maryland to the creativity of neighborhood artists. Ch/Art has energized the previously vacant display windows of a building scheduled to be demolished and beautified for the benefit of the community what was a depressing eyesore.
Ch/Art was founded in 2018 and has a membership of 140 artists who work in painting, sculpture, glass, photography, jewelry, fiber art, ceramics and other media. It offers the community opportunities to access art and engage in art making through educational and hands on experiences.
